SattaDay Sharing

Artwork by my younger sister Mairin of ElementalTree
This is my weekly post about all things

"Satta" means relax (Jamaican Patois);
or essential being, as to be, to exist (Sanskrit)
Around here we call Saturday - "SattaDay"...

An amazing discovery!

I love this informational and inspiring website...

I had a free Faerie Oracle reading done by this nice woman, you can too!

I started using this free program to add a custom signature to my emails. It applies it automatically, with links to lots of social media if you want that. Just check it out.

I won't judge you for who you vote for, but if you have this sticker on your car, you are a sad story. This sickens me... So ignorant and offensive.

EAGL and I had some mutual friends when we met... and when we found out I was pregnant with ISIS, our friends got pregnant with their first baby. I had helped them once on the farm here in San Diego, that they worked on at the time. We brought the youth out to teach them about gardening and composting, etc. They moved to Hawaii a few years ago, and now look at them! So inspiring...

Ever heard of Lemonade Mantras? My friend Beth has created something fresh and new. I like it.

I think this is such a fun idea

This book is powerful. The author was my favorite professor in college, and he has continued to be a friend, and inspiration. I wish more people would take the time to read his works...

The new free catalog for Mountain Rose Herbs is out, have you ordered yours?

I've loved her since I was about 14. She's a scorpio like me, I relate to her lyrics, she's incredibly talented- and misunderstood. This is one of my favorites of her songs.

Roots... This young artist/activist was shot down and killed before he reached 25. Love this track, 'Nature Provides'... Listening to it on repeat right now. Give thanks...

Live in love.
Speak from your heart.
Peace.

Open Mind Media

wrestling with words and ideas

diminish all pain... all fear
open-mind-media...
cheer

developing the following:

these tools, back-pocketing
compact wings
reality
spiritual being, walking,
planting seeds...
breaths...

winds whirling truths...
becoming aware of them

winds...
catch my breath, in...

breathing out, thoughts
illusionary-
make you look twice...
what    are   you   balancing?
balancing, balancing   your life...
center

balance your life...
living in Jah sight

glass-like...
hunt truth, write...
overstand this plight

this lyrical bliss fitness,
hints if listen
instant by instant

distancing myself from the false alarm
oxygen flushed out by   yawn...
gone
to the freedom
styling,
lead drum beat into   unison
come undone...

be woven
open-ended
so don't get defensive...

spider web dread threads
tight-rope
maneuver
and rhymes become smoother...

even-if-you-don't-think-you-can- you groove here,
open chamber...

smoke inhaler-
mazed, mirrored walls-
always pure...

reflection...

to provoke quieter...

reflection
intention...

an answer when you decipher

spiraling
cipher

path to point the way...
bathe in water spray
on hot days
blaze new
and create
and give praise...

because the gates are open
stop your moping

peace peace peace piece by piece
happiness
peace peace peace

peace can be chosen

- Lauren Luquin

A poem I wrote in 2005. I turned it into a song and played my guitar and recorded it once, but instead of sharing that track audibly, I felt like sharing it in it's first form... the written word form... ~*~

I will be sharing a poem once a month.
I may even share a song or two,
and perhaps a video,
some day...

SattaDay Sharing

This is my weekly post about all things
that I feel are worth sharing in a relaxed format.
"Satta" means relax (Jamaican Patois);
or essential being, as to be, to exist (Sanskrit)
Around here we call Saturday - "SattaDay"...

So here is my list in no particular order...

Interested in learning about herbs, and how to turn them into oils, incense, tea, and more? This mini eCourse/eCamp is just what you you've been waiting for! Go see the HerbMother...

This is something you should be aware of with all people in your life.

Have you seen Susannah's new books? It must feel so good to have these in her hands...

I like this simple write up about Crow Medicine.

I've always wished I could afford PhotoShop but if you have time this program is comparable and it's free!

Ever wondered how the people offering eBooks and other digital products make them look like 3D mini versions on the screen? This cool program is one way to do it. I may have to try this down the line...

I love the idea of this 30 day eCourse. I think I just might have to join! And what's even more awesome, is it's Pay What Feels Right, so you can be sure you can afford it.

This is so interesting. Coyote Grows Spirit Wings...

One of my favorite songs... Seen them live multiple times, and always an amazing vibe.

I'm currently working on a Masters degree from this University. Why a degree... I thought you were all about unschooling...? I love focusing my attention in disciplined ways sometimes, it helps me put energy where I intend it to go. The program I'm in is self-paced, and I chose to take these classes. I love it. We are not anti-school! Both my parents are retired educators, and I have spent over 10 years working in schools, and have multiple degrees, including a Master of Education in Cross-Cultural Teaching. We simply do what feels right for us, and we keep ISIS home because that's what we feel like doing now... Perhaps there is an amazing school for her in our future. We're open to where her path leads her...

A song from my daughter's favorite singer... "The Secret to Success" (disclaimer: there might be an ad that pops up, just press "SKIP AD" to view and hear the irie tunes...

BLESSINGS!!
Be Wise.

Why I cancelled my eCourse...

I don't expect you to even be aware that it was canceled, but if you check out the Intuitive Heart eCourse page now you'll notice some changes. Basically I just postponed the registration date until, "Sometime this Spring"... I will explain why I did this in a minute, but first I'll just say that I am not canceling the concept and content of the eCourse, I simply canceled the Registration for Spring. Basically just postponing it as I make changes.

Why would I do this?

Many reasons... I haven't been talking about it as much lately, but my blog is saturated with posts about what many call Animal Medicine, Spirit Guides, and Totems... I resonate with this way of relating to my reality because it's what I've known all of my life, from even before I was born into this life... I pick up on energy when I meditate and journey inward and connect with guides that often take the form of animals... Plants and trees speak to me in this way, just like the lingering spirits that haunt me in my own home... I pick up on the energy, it's just how I am. So as I begin to explain this all, keep in mind that when we journey we all have the ability to interpret our own messages. Sometimes we can seek out help for this, but I recommend trusting your heart, trust your intuition about what you feel your guides are telling you. Symbology is fascinating to no end, and sometimes a vision you have may take years for you to 'figure out'... It's beautiful how life teaches us over time planting seeds for later... and even in the moment you realize something, there still may be so much more down the road... Guides are like signposts in our mind. As we travel on...

I found this owl pellet remains near the grave of my cat at the house where I grew up. Where I spent all my days and evenings connecting, and waking up to this amazing life. Owl has always been a strong figure for me, so strong that I have done major work with this medicine and have buried beautiful wings to ground the energy... I love owl medicine because it's raw truth, and for that same reason it can really stir things up. To heighten my already keen senses takes me to a point where I am locked into observation mode, wide-eyed, open-eared, still, calm, quiet,

f  e  e  l  i  n  g... Remembering...

So, when owl medicine in the form of her pellet of a rat's skull showed up, I took it as my wake up call to- "Yes Lauren this is it, here is your message pouring in, you know you feel it... are you ready?" Of course I'm ready. I was born ready.

So then the next day I found this crow's beak. I sat with it, and crouched low to the ground as the winds came on furiously, massaging me into deep awareness, the pause... Then is when I heard these words... "2 crow feathers"... these words... they are important to me. Crow is equally important to me like owl. I felt that owl had killed crow (Did you know they do that? They do sometimes... Great Horned Owls). Well, "2 crow feathers" told me that I was carrying something... words with power, I had something to say. AND I said it. I spoke. I expressed it. I can't fully get into how this all means this to me, but it does.

So, in regard to my eCourse... I created a beautiful eCourse called Intuitive Heart, and I launched it and I had over 50 women join me as we went through 7 weeks together, and it was awesome. I learned A LOT of course. I felt right away that I was excited to begin again with another group- almost like a momentum had set into my path, and I was carried away... but soon on after I had opened up registration for Spring session, I had these signs appearing. It all came down to this:

The content of my eCourse, is what it is. I don't really know how to say it in so many other ways. I don't need to. I don't need people to return to my eCourse to go through it again, cuz once you absorb the messages- you are forever changed by it. It will stay with you...

There was is this part of me that loves to facilitate group energy. I studied Feminist Pedagogy at CSULB with Wendy Griffin for two years electively. She was my mentor for 5 years, during crucial learning curves, awakening to my purpose. There is this other part of me that knows I do my best works when I'm one-on-one. And in person, face-to-face... But I've been told that women feel my energy strong through the internet, and as we know energy moves through all space and time... My point is, I was faced with the question of what my intention for this eCourse was and is once again, like when I first created it. I realized that I want to have the information available to as many women as possible, and I also want to provide support for them if they need it. I have decided that instead of having an eCourse where I make new videos every week, and go along with the groups through weekly activities, etc., that I am going to offer the Intuitive Heart eCourse as an eCourse that you register for and become a part of, but that doesn't have a set schedule per se... The videos, the blog, the resources, etc., will all be on one page, and you will be able to access it whenever you want, for as long as you need. I will continue to provide support by keeping an active FaceBook group open for all participants, and I will also be available for questions and comments, and so on. (Details later.)

SO WHY though...? Oh yeah, mainly because I have SO much creative energy it almost overwhelms me daily. I started to feel weighed down and opened up to my universal mind so that I could get this message- That I just need to keep going... I have to go on to the next project after I redo and revamp the existing blog and info./videos for the eCourse... I have so many ideas for projects I have planned and ones that I'm working on now that need my attention. I also am mama to 2 brilliant children that are a top priority, so as we go along, I've adjusted now to what is best for us all. I need that flexibility to connect with the women involved in a more self-paced way on my side just like theirs. Does this all make sense to you?

I am really happy that I figured this out, and right when I did, I canceled registration and explained to those who I needed to what was going on, but waited until now to finally announce this move on my blog to everyone because I have been moving the energy through and settling into my new mind set. '

To remind me of my path was this fuzzy caterpillar on the sand at the beach.

My transformations are so prolific, and at times, very rapid. They've become much more rapid over the years... I embrace this part of me and honor it in my own way. I've had so much advice on ways I should do things, and I've learned from that, but I also always ALWAYS go back to what I feel I should do, and I go from there- that is my path...

So I won't get into all of the amazing ideas and creative projects I'm manifesting alongside the Intuitive Heart eCourse... because it's just too much, and that's not how I work anyway... You'll see what's up.

There is so much work to do. I feel drawn to connect and spread love, and bring awareness to anyone seeking that spark of inspiration. I am so inspired by the works I see going on around me with other women who move lots of energy for their own healing and that of others. We all are harmonious in how each person on this earth right now plays a role, and makes an impact. We all have a story, we all have a path lit with love and light... So many blessings ahead...

Keep all channels open. Let love flow through all parts of you, fill your mind with gratitude, and breathe in peace. Don't fear the bare bones of it all. We are what we are. We will do what needs to be done, and we have plenty of time for it. Tune in to what you feel is good for you, so you feel charged and aligned as you connect with others... Be true to who YOU are.

I acknowledge your presence... and your potential.

The Winner of Seeds of Boldness...

Rebekah!!

Thanks to all of the 4 people who entered this GiveAway.
(I am so surprised only 4 entered...)

But so glad that I got to meet a few new ladies,
and so stoked to give this very inspiring issue of
Sprout online magazine to a very creative and inspiring mama.

Rebekah of Mustardseed Freeschoolers wrote this:

"I think many of the things I do would be considered bold by others, yet they don't feel bold to me. Giving an acquaintance a hug- THAT's bold. I have dreadlocks and tattoos and piercings and those feels far less scary than opening myself up to people. I've been on stage singing in front of hundreds of people, and that feels less bold to me than starting the local 15 member taekwondo class I'm starting on Thurs (my heart is in my throat just typing it!). enough about me, you blog is lovely and that Header?? sigh, beautiful! Did you make it yourself?"

To answer your question about my header Rebekah...
The header was designed by me,
using one of my photographs from a recent trip we took
 to our local mountains.
I explained what I wanted to a graphic designer,
who added the detail, filter, and text to it.

Thanks for asking, and for the kind words about it.
I will be contacting you soon about how to get your magazine issue.

Much LOVE to you all... and,
 tonight I'll be writing my
post about what has been going on for me lately,
in case you're interested.

SattaDay Sharing

This is my weekly post about all things
that I feel are worth sharing in a relaxed format.
"Satta" means relax (Jamaican Patois);
or essential being, as to be, to exist (Sanskrit)
Around here we call Saturday - "SattaDay"...

So here is my list in no particular order...

I just read this post from Denise Andrade and appreciate her words about keeping true to herself, her family, and NOT feeling that urge of trying to become something in the name of business... She understands what's really important. I relate to her more than I can explain at this time, and will do my best to in a post soon.

This woman's art has inspired me in so many ways. She is my favorite painter.

This woman happens to be one of my best friends, but she also is one of the most beautiful mamas EVER. Her baby girl just turned 1 year old on the 27th, the same exact day my nephew turned 3, and my son reached 7 months. It was a special day...

EAGL and I grew our own once, but for now this is my favorite kind... I could drink one everyday.

Another one of my friends, who inspires me so much, is having a 44% off sale! Check it out...

Burning since high school....

Ever wondered how to make your own favicon..? A favicon is that tiny picture that shows up next to your domain name/web address... It's easy to make your own.

I've been buying this calendar for 6 years now but this year, to save a tree, and save some cash, I got this app...

Do you use Google, Gmail, YouTube, Blogger, etc.? I suggest you read this...

There's a few publications I'm eyeing lately, I feel drawn to this one a lot.

This song... I resonate with it. I see my husband when he sings, and he has a similar way of playing... The sitting on the ground, the raw guitar, the emotion... the LOVE. And I'm getting more and more full of my own emotion, and words- needing to expressssss-soon musically.

And if you were wondering about the tent that is pictured above with my children in it... Well, my parents bought it for ISIS when she started crawling, and we remembered it yesterday so we got it out and she slept in it in her room, and Z is loving it now. I don't think they make this exact one anymore, but this is where they got it, and the one they're selling now in replace of the older version.
_______________________________________________________

I have so many creative ideas and news and projects to share,
I'll be coming back here soon to spill.

Be well my loves.

News: eCourse, Guest Post, and Facebook

OPEN for REGISTRATION now!!
Spring Session will begin
April 2 and ends May 12.

I learned so much with the group of women in the last session.
It really is so amazing how we learn the most from actual experience.
That is how I learn best, and sometimes maybe we've had
an experience but we have to be reminded about it,
so we can integrate the lessons into our lives.
I've had a lot of those moments too lately.
It seems that there really is no shortage on information out there...
My work is to inspire and make information clear and un-intimidating,
so more people can absorb, understand,
and apply what they need into their lives...

The feedback that I got from the last session
inspired me to make a few changes
to make the Spring Session even BETTER!
The testimonials put some wind in my sails,
and really touched my heart.
I'm really excited to be able to share in this way,
and SO grateful...
It was a surprise for the women to get to hear me sing,
and play the drum...
My storytelling is warming up to it's new voice.
I'm bursting at the seams with inspiration and ideas...
Full of Love and Light...
I'm enjoying every minute of how my creative process
keeps unfolding layers upon layers of my deepest intentions
to heal and express what is important to me,
and what I'm offering up, is for the good of all.

"Whether you need a simple tune up in life, or a complete overhaul, the Intuitive Heart eCourse will help you focus on YOU, bringing you to a new awareness about yourself and your path."

asked me to write a guest post on one of her blogs...
She teams up with a few other women at Love My Art Jewelry.
If you're interested, you can check it out here...

Also, new...
I decided to open my personal Facebook page again.
It's been a year or so since I used it.
I won't be deleting it this time.
I will be using my VisionWise - Lauren Luquin
page to update with information about my Etsy shop mostly,
and am now happily adding friends
to my personal page Lauren Luquin, if you're interested.

Will you be joining me this Spring for Intuitive Heart eCourse?

SattaDay Sharing

This is my new weekly post about all things
that I feel are worth sharing in a relaxed format.
"Satta" means relax (Jamaican Patois);
or essential being, as to be, to exist (Sanskrit)
Around here we call Saturday - "SattaDay"...

So here is my list in no particular order...

Walk with me on a trail and hear my voice in a relaxed format... I wanted to show the women in my eCourse where I was at when I filmed one of the weekly videos, so I recorded a little mini impromtu video.

Last night in the spirit of sharing I decided to open my Instagram up to the public. I have had it as private this whole time, but decided I would let others take a glimpse behind the curtain. You can find me here @laurenluquin... I put up at least one new picture a day usually.

Have you ever wondered how to apply a watermark to your photos...?

I want to buy this game for the family...

If you like color, you can use this palette to mess around with different combinations...

This highly popular household cleaner is being marketed as "non-toxic" and it's far from it.

If you've ever wondered about the uses of coconut oil, this article is packed with ideas and valuable information.

These women's words brought tears to my eyes... I am so grateful for them.

There's still time to enter this GiveAway!

I love the idea of this handy little FREE eBook.

This is inspiring...

A great guide on how to make Tinctures...

My husband was playing this song earlier... EAGL is the man to go to for new jams... He has such an amazing and eclectic collection. Always inspiring me...

Come by each Saturday for my weekly "SattaDay Sharing" posts...
Have a great weekend!

A long trail ahead...

This past weekend we took a trip out east to the mountains...

We wanted to experience the last of the snow before it melted.

It was a beautiful day...

I recorded the last video for the current session of the Intuitive Heart eCourse...

We were up on the Pacific Crest Trail.

The land here is sacred to me...

Just like the space I am in now with my life,
each transformation is powerful and meaningful...

There is a long trail ahead...

but I'm in no rush...

My true goals do not involve accomplishing things...

or becoming something...

or proving anything to anyone...

My spirit is soaring...

I am at peace with where I am at.

I have everything that I need right now...

News about what's crackin'...

I'm in a good mood.
I had felt sort of 'under the weather' the last few days,
from being overly tired and it's been cold and rainy,
but it all lifted,
and my sense of humor has been off the scale today.
I can get kind of hyper at times,
believe it or not,
mainly if I have not exerted enough energy and it builds up...
If you have met me in person, you know the many sides to my personality.
I love to laugh and make others laugh,
and my family is hilarious at times.

I'd like to bring a little lightness and humor to this blog tonight
cuz I can tend to be all serious and stuff...
Intense. I know...
People have always told me that...
"You're intense." Yeah well, I am and I'm not too.
Anyway, this post will be a bunch of NEWS and
pics from the last week or so...
and hopefully you'll crack a smile here or there...

"When babies attack." - my 2 year old nephew

This is a picture of my little guy kissing me hard.
It's his new thing.
He grabs my hair and pulls me in and bites my face.
I know it sounds bad...
But he's trying to snuggle me up all tight and kiss me.
It doesn't help that he just got 2 teeth,
so I've had to help him learn how to be more gentle...
He is so sweet and affectionate I can't even contain myself-
He's toned it down the past few days to softer bite-slobber-kisses.

Before I get to the NEWS,
I want to share a few more pics.

This is my old toy from back in the day!
1983 was the manufacture date.
This is 'Red Butler' from 'Rainbow Brite'.
Do you remember that show?!
Hehee, well, we had a yard sale last weekend,
and while I was going through a storage bin
at my parents' house, I found him.
He is now baby Z's new little friend.
He likes to bite his feet and talk to him in the car.
His orange yarn hair is awesome.

We cleared out about 1/4 of what we own at our house,
and it feels amazing.
This is our second time doing this in the past year,
and we plan to do it a couple more times before our big move.
Simplifying...

Ok, one more picture of baby Z giving kisses.

This is my love giving a snuggle bite-kiss to his cousin,
my older sister's baby girl who is 4 months old now.
It's so much fun for my sister and I to have babies so close in age.
When they see each other they start squealing in joy.
Adorable.

ISIS and baby Z and I frequent my parents' house at least once a week,
because we love them and all,
but also because we just end up there,
because as life-learner-unschooler folk,
we just go where we feel like it,
and it's fun to meet up and have playtime at my old house,
where there is more wildlife and open space,
and grandparents that are super cool peeps.

Part of ISIS' learning lately has been her project with snails.
She has been keeping a terrarium with snails for the past 2 months,
and one of them laid eggs!
I had never seen snail eggs before,
and so we read all about it and are waiting for them to hatch.
Since it's winter,
I'm not too worried about our garden.
We love snails around here.
We'll make sure they find good homes.

Alright now, let me share the NEWS in a list...

1. Registration for the Spring session of the
will officially open on February 27!

The Intuitive Heart - Spring Session will last 7 weeks,
beginning on March 25 and ending on May 12.

We are in the 6th week of the Winter session now,
the FIRST session...
It's been such a big learning experience for me.
I am so grateful for this group of women
who have been with me through this initiation process.
One of the women in the group emailed this beautiful
message to me this week:

"You know what I am learning from your eCourse?
Life is all about love and loving.
Meditation in all its forms is a channel to
giving and receiving love.
Your thoughts and techniques are encouraging me
to meditate more, and pray more.
That it matters very much how I direct my thoughts."

I have reread this several times,
and I'm just filled with joy,
knowing that this woman feels this way
about our time together in the Intuitive Heart eCourse.
I will be updating the "Appreciation" page on my blog
sometime next week or the following week,
as we bring this session to a close on February 26.

Last week we chose an affirmation to focus on,
and we adorned them and beautified them to be put
somewhere in our home, or work area...
This is what I made.

Next news...

2. During the weeks in between eCourse sessions
I will be restocking my shop.

VisionWise - Earth Livity 1111 has started to look neglected,
but in actuality it hasn't been at all,
I'm just going through another transformation with my creations,
and I am slowly selling the last of what is in my shop,
to make way for new items.
I will be having a big SALE coming up in the next couple of weeks,
so keep that in mind.

3. I am excited to announce that starting in March,
I will begin a new series of monthly interviews!

Last year I did a series of "Artist Interviews"
posted every 2nd of the month...
(which you can find on my sidebar on the right)
and this year's series is all about "Inspiring People".
I have several interviewees lined up,
and I'm looking forward to having that regular post for you all to enjoy.
I will be posting this series of interviews every 22nd of the month.

With regard to regular posts...
It is a concept that I have grown to appreciate as a blog reader myself.
I like that certain bloggers post regularly on certain days, or topics,
and I've been meaning to do the same thing for a while now.

4. Starting sometime this month,
I will begin posting a new weekly, and monthly regular post.
Every week I will be making a post that I basically
share other people's works with you- for example:
blogs I love, articles I've read that I feel are important,
music I listen to, products I support,
inspirational stories, things to make you smile, etc.

It's nothing new in the blog realm,
I have seen people doing this in their own way all over the place,
and so I am figuring out how I will do this,
and it's about time too, cuz I've been holding back!
I have lots to share people, I hope you will check out this new series.

and lastly...

5. Every month I will be sharing one of my recipes.

Ever since I started this blog over 2 years ago
I have been photographing meals and snacks I make,
because I've always known I would someday organize my
ideas about food and eating,
and I'd start to share more about it.
Recently my sister Kristen suggested to me that I start a
regular series of posts where I share recipes,
and I thought it was a wonderful idea.
I am always learning and I will be explaining that learning process as I go,
so it should be interesting and fun.

...a pouch I recently made to carry some new stones I was given
by a friend, the peacock ore and chrysoprase-
the other brown one is one I've had for a long time,
it's petrified redwood tree... and then of course one of my
many special pieces from LillaJizo.

So there it is.
Lot's of new stuff to look forward to.
Thanks for being here.

A Special GiveAway with Elemental Tree!

I love being the middle child in my family.
I have an older sister and a younger sister.
They are 2 of my very best friends...
They each have been huge inspirations to me with my Etsy shop,
because they are both very creative and crafty.

My younger sister Mairin has an Etsy shop called ElementalTree.
She sells healing jewelry, postcards of her photography,
paintings, and other items...
but my favorite are her beautiful mushroom sculptures.

Amanita Muscaria, by ElementalTree

Since living in the forest, and hiking many trails,
while exploring and learning...
she knows a lot about different fungi...
I was so excited to see her start sculpting them a while back,
cuz I love mushrooms and the idea of getting to have them on my altars
or on my desk, or to give as gifts was exciting.

What's really cool though, is that now she makes
them with a recycled/repurposed bicycle wheel spoke
to be used as stake to put in a garden or along a pathway...
She recently gave me this one...

They are beautifully handcrafted and made with LOVE...
Gazing upon them brings me joy every time.
I'd love for you to enjoy some of my sister's magic and medicine,
and I'm so pleased to share this opportunity...

Mairin is offering one of her
'Shrimp Russula' mushroom sculptures
for the winner of this GiveAway!

This is what Mairin has to say about the
 'Shrimp Russula' mushroom sculpture:

"The Shrimp mushroom has been popping up in the coastal forests near my house recently...
They are fun to find and important to positively identify.
The Shrimp mushroom when identified correctly can make for a delicious snack!
You can toast the caps like you would a piece of bread
(recommended by my trusty field guide: All the Rain Promises and More, by David Arora).
Aside from being something you can eat, this mushroom is also fun to look at.
They range in color, from red to purple and sometimes brown.
The best part is that the stalk of the Shrimp Russula has a blush of rose color,
so it stands out among other forest fungi.
I have made this mushroom sculpture to look like the real thing,
so you can enjoy it all year round in your garden or planter.
I hand sculpted this mushroom from a clay compound, then hand painted it with acrylic paint.
It has a recycled bike spoke stuck into the bottom of it so you can easily add it to your Garden.

measurements:
6 inch spoke in the bottom
2.5 inch long stalk
3 inch wide cap"
